1st Team Presentation Night

Sunday night saw the return of the first team presentation night after a long period without one. It was a fantastic turn out from club officials, the majority of the first team (only few missing due to other commitments) and invited guests. After a period of socialising and food, the chairman began proceedings with an excellent speech about his vision for the club. This was then followed by the manager also doing a speech and how he wants to make sure we are more successful next season and how he wants to retain every player for 2023/24 season.

Then it was on to the awards. First up was goal of the season, which was won by Alex O’Connor. However he was award on holiday, so no photo from that on. The rest was as follows:

and finally a special award was presented to Michael Grimmer who is retiring from his role as secretary after decades of service to the club. We’d like to thank him for his services in this role, Mick will still continue is role as heads groundsman though.
