Chairmans Dunston Notes

Good afternoon and welcome to our visitors from Dunston FC we hope you enjoy our facilities at the Eco-Power Stadium.
It doesn’t seem two minutes ago that I was preparing my notes for the first game of the season, and here we are at our final home game.At that stage nobody new if the pandemic would get a grip again and curtail another season ,fortunately things have improved and we can finish what as been a steady sort of campaign for us, although we didn’t make the best start and with a change of manager the squad settled down and we have never really been out of the top ten places in the division, it would have been nice to have had a cup run but it wasn’t to be but I am sure people will agree that the squad have competed well and played good football at times.

As mentioned we had a change in management and Ian ,Andy and Peter have come in and quietly and professionally changed things around and added to the squad and I look forward to pre season when they can really put their stamp on things.
I have put page in today’s programme to thank all our volunteers and committee members for their contribution this season without which we couldn’t operate, I would also like to thank our main sponsor ECO -POWER ENVIRONMENTAL LTD for their contribution over the last two seasons.
