Chairmans Lincoln Notes #2

Good afternoon and welcome to our visitors from Lincoln United FC, we hope you enjoy our facilities at the Eco-Power Stadium.
First of all a big thank you to all the supporters who turned up last Saturday in atrocious conditions for our game against Hebburn FC , fortunately you were rewarded with an excellent performance and some cracking goals.
Tuesday nights fixture turned out to be after the Lord Mayor’s parade with a flat performance resulting in a defeat at Frickley. In fairness to our opposition they are fighting to pull away from the relegation zone , and on the night competed better than we did for their one, nil win , the result sums up our form this season and we have not found the level of consistency needed yet especially away from home but that can happen with a young squad.
I was pleased that keeper Michael Roxburgh did well on his debut last Saturday and we welcome him to the club.
Let’s hope for a cracking game today, get behind the lads.
Thank you for your continued support and have a safe journey home.
