Chairmans Sheffield Notes

Hopefully tonight we will be able to complete the full ninety minutes of the game, its a shame the previous game was cut short by the weather, we had a lead and control of the game when the referee made his decision, its important the lads make sure tonight that we don’t live to regret his decision.

Saturday produced another gutsy display in difficult conditions and with several players missing we were lucky to grind out a good 4-3 win against Lincoln who must be given credit for taking this game to the wire. Once again  Luke showed his quality in and around the box to get his second hat trick of the week.

Our newly launched members club is gathering momentum and I thank everyone who have joined so far, it is one of only a few income sources we have. I would like to mention vice chairman and commercial manager Roger Gissing for the hard work he puts in at the club, thinking of initiatives to raise funds to help maintain our status as South Yorkshires top non-league side he is a massive cog in what we are trying to achieve .
