Allegations of Homophobic Language

Stocksbridge Park Steels FC has been made aware of an allegation that a Steels supporter used homophobic language towards an opposition player in or around the 86th minute of our home fixture with Grimsby Borough on Saturday 18th March.
Anyone attending that fixture and who heard any such remark(s) should contact welfarestocksbridgepsfc@gmail.com to help us with our investigation into this extremely serious allegation. Responses will be treated in strict confidence.
Please note that it is club policy not to comment on ongoing investigations.
The club reminds spectators attending any match at Bracken Moor, or any of our supporters visiting away fixtures, that the club will not tolerate the use of abusive language or any language which makes abusive or insulting reference to race, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
Spectators found guilty of the use of such language will be permanently banned from attending any match played at Bracken Moor with immediate effect.
