Today the FA made the draws for the early rounds of the FA Cup, Trophy, Vase and Youth Cup. Stocksbridge enter the FA Cup in the Preliminary Round on Saturday 12th September. This will be Steels first game of the season and at moment we still don’t know if fans will be allowed in. Stocksbridge have been drawn at home against tough opposition in the form of Stalybridge Celtic. There is no replay’s this season, the winners of the tie will receive £1,444.
In the FA Trophy we do not enter till the 2nd Qualifying Round which will take place on Saturday 17th October and again Stocksbridge have been drawn at home against tough opposition this time in the form of Marske United. Again ties to be played to a finish this year. The winners of the tie will receive £2,250.
In the FA Youth Cup our Under 18’s are away to Garforth Town week commencing 7th September, if they get past them then another away match awaits at Dronfield Town week commencing 21st September.
