Welcome to our new player interview feature! In every programme, we will ask a Stocksbridge player to pick five random questions from our bag of questions and they will answer them!

First up, it’s Josh Nodder!

What is your go to Karaoke song?

My Girl by The Temptations. It’s my initiation song every time and every time I join a new club I have to sing it.

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done and why did you do it?

I had to do a skydive on holiday, I was basically forced into it. It was off a cliff as well and all of it was flaking off so it was a bit hard but that’s definitely the scariest thing I’ve ever done and I did it because all my mates did it.

What was the last gift you gave?

Do I have to make this one PG too? (Yes please do). I actually took my mum out for dinner a couple of weeks ago.

When did you screw everything up but no one found out it was you?

I’ll keep this one PG as well! Once I had some leftover chicken from football and I put it in the bottom compartment of someone’s bag and it absolutely stunk for weeks. I forgot to tell him about it! (Can you name the player you did it to?) No, but it was with one of my old teams at Frickley! It got to the point where it was smelling that bad I couldn’t own up to it!

Have you ever disliked something but changed your mind?

Yes! I used to dislike Michael Trench! Our friendship got off to a flaky start and then we ended up being best mates after!
