Club captain Liam McFadyen has sign a short term deal with NCEL side Athersley Recreation in order to get some game time before our own league campaign resumes, having been out since last season. Fads only lives 2 miles away from the ground and knows many of the players at Rec, so with our season currently suspended it really was a win win for all parties involved.
We would like to wish him good luck at Athersley and look forward to see him back in a Steels shirt when our season resumes.
