Message from Ian Richards

Ultimately, the season finished in disappointment on Tuesday night but right until the end our players, and our coaching team were excellent and a credit to the football club. We should be proud of what they achieved as a group.

Personally, it has been a huge privilege to lead this club through one of its most memorable and successful seasons. The rebuild, the record breaking FA cup run, getting to and staying in the top 5 since November, making the play offs and taking the second best team in the league to penalties in front of 1200+ spectators is what makes the effort, sacrifice, and commitment worthwhile. I love what I do because of the people I do it with and this changing room is one of the best I have managed and will only get better with time, coaching and support.

I am hugely grateful for the contributions our loyal supporters, volunteers and committee have made to make this season an enjoyable and successful one, without you we do not have a club competing in the NPL – thank you.
