Stocksbridge Park Steels launch new look
Stocksbridge Park Steels are moving into the next phase of our development plan.

Off the field we now have an excellent team of volunteers lead by Chairman Graham Furness and Vice-Chairman Roger Gissing, and a group of talented people skilled in numerous roles across the club, without the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to give the Stocksbridge Community a football club it can be proud of.
With our first team playing at step 4 in the Non-League pyramid right through to the juniors. The club led by Development Officer Dave Rhodes now has a clear pathway for players to progress from our junior ranks right through to our first team and beyond.
The club has produced plenty of players who have gone on to play professional football including Lee Mills, Simon Marples, Harrison Biggins and the most famous of them all Jamie Vardy.
Last year saw the arrival of Ian Richards (an ex-junior player) take over as first team manager and this summer is his first pre-season with the club, along with his management team have a big summer to get the team ready for what promises to be another competitive NPL East Division, the clubs long term goal is to be back playing at step 3 in the NPL Premier.
We are working tirelessly to bring new revenue to the club, and will be announcing several new partnerships over the coming weeks. With all the changes, it’s time to bring in a new identity and we will be moving our brands to reflect the current trends within the football market, we will start with the new crest to replace our old round one that was looking very dated.
The club have gone for a sleek shield crest with the iconic Stocksbridge Clock Tower and our now famous SPS, along with the year we were formed underneath.
The club feels this embodies the club and how it is embracing change and a new future.
