After months of behind the scenes work the new look website for Stocksbridge Park Steels is now live. This site has been built from the ground up for the club. Work has include making sure every section of the club has their own dedicated section, with the aims to grow these sections over the coming weeks and months.
The home page is jammed pack with all the info you need, from the current league table, to upcoming fixtures and the latest results. Plus Adam has provided us with detailed match reports. In the first team section, you will find the fixture list, league table, match reports, this seasons stats and also pen pics. I am working on appearances for all the current players but their all time goals are up to date.
The reserves, development team and both our U18 teams have their own dedicated section, including fixture list, league table and goal scorers. I aim to expand these sections with photos of the teams etc. The biggest job has been the club records and is far from complete. I am currently working on adding as much information as possible to this area, with the aim to have the following:
- All Time Goal scorers
- Golden Boot Winners
- All Time Appearances
- All Time Playing Records
- League History
- Cup History
- And All Time Records
The site has been built so it is just as good and detailed on a Laptop or PC as it would be on a mobile device, as with any new site there maybe a few gremlins so please do let me know as the only way to test everything is in a live environment.
