Nowak pledges his future to Steels

Oliver Nowak has signed his senior forms with Stocksbridge Park Steels and will feature for the first team this season.

Nowak has come through the youth teams at Stocksbridge. He grabbed the attention of many fans for his performances with the U18s, quickly getting him a place in the reserves as well. He featured regularly as the Steels U18s went unbeaten and won the double last season while also being the Reserves leading scoring.

This led to him spending a second pre-season with the Steels first time and following some impressive performances, he has now signed a deal which will allow him to feature for our first team. It is a great moment for everyone involved to see a player come through the pathway and now get their chance to play with the seniors.#

Absolutely delighted for Olly, he’s been a stand out performer for us through u18’s, was leading goal scorer for the Reserves last season & has been excellent in all the 1st team friendlies pre-season. He’s hard working, has a great attitude & drive that’s he’s taken into these games & taken his opportunities with both hands – a great example for the other lads coming through. I started playing football age 4 at Stocksbridge park steels and it’s a privilege to be now apart of the first team. Can’t wait for the season ahead and this pre-season has given me a nice teaser of what’s in store Olly Nowak
