Rawson signs on for Stocksbridge

- Stocksbridge Park Steels have signed Luke Rawson.
The 21-year-old striker came through the Chesterfield academy and was hailed as one of its top prospects after he started playing for their reserve side as a 16-year-old. Even as a teenager, he was a big winner as he won the Chesterfield School’s Football League four years in a row while at Parkside Community School.
While at Chesterfield, he went on loan to several non-league clubs such as Matlock Town, Brighouse Town and Alfreton Town. In 2021, he then signed for Bradford Park Avenue. He scored four goals in 19 games while in West Yorkshire and also made a brief return to Sheffield FC.
Rawson now signs for Stocksbridge and will be looking to lead the line this season.
