Steels are back in action tonight in the 1st round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup against current cup holders North Gawber Colliery. The draw for the next round has been made and the winners of tonight’s game will face a trip to Doncaster to play Rossington Main. The tie is to be played from next Saturday (9/10) onwards. I suspect it will be arrange for a midweek but as we have a busy October I’m unsure as to when it will be arrange or if we will move a league game to squeeze it in.
The reserves also have a home tie and have been drawn against Central Midlands League Side Dearne & District and again this was suppose to take place next Saturday but the 1st team are at home in the Trophy so I suspect it will be move to either a Wednesday night or a Saturday when the 1st team is away. Once we have dates confirmed for both matches I will update the relevant fixtures lists and also share across our social media channels.
