Declan Slater has left Stocksbridge Park Steels to join Barnsley based Worsbrough Bridge.
Slater came through the Grimsby Town academy and played for Swedish side Gottene IF before signing for Stocksbridge last summer. He struggled for first team football while at the Eco Power Environmental Stadium and spent time on loan at Athersley Rec alongside Kane Swinburn. Briggers boss Luke Forgione is a big admirer of the player and he is pleased to welcome him to the club.
Now, Slater has left Stocksbridge to sign for Worsbrough where he was on the bench for last night’s 2-1 loss to Dronfield Town.
Stocksbridge Park Steels would like to wish Slater the best of luck at his new club
