Steels at the markets
Stocksbridge Park Steels made its competitive debut at Fox Valley’s weekly Friday market on the 25th of November. Headed up by Vice Chair Roger Gissing and Chair Graham Furness, the club ran a market stall selling club replica shirts and leisure wear, mugs, flasks and other accessories.
Other club committee members joined during the day to offer their support , and the club enjoyed an encouraging and steady trade from passing shoppers of all ages, many of whom expressed an interest in watching South Yorkshire’s leading Non-League club at our next home game with North Shields on December 3rd.
