Stocksbridge complete signing of Ben Partridge

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Ben Partridge from Ollerton Town.
Partridge has played for clubs such AFC Mansfield, Handsworth and Harworth Collierty before signing with Ollerton. When he was at Mansfield, he played under Stocksbridge legend Mark Ward. He primarily plays as a striker but can also be used as a winger.
He has performed well while at Ollerton this season, scoring seven goals in 21 appearances including a dramatic last minute equaliser against promotion chasing North Ferriby. Now he’ll make the switch to Stocksbridge where the 24-year-old will hope to make a quick impact.
Following the signing, Stocksbridge manager Ian Richards said: “I’m pleased Ben has signed for the club, he is exactly the player we are looking to recruit.
“He’s young, hungry with a great attitude who has had a taste of Northern Premier League football and is ready to challenge himself again at this level.
“He is a direct attacking player with pace and the ability to get at players and create chances for himself and others. We look forward to him adding to an already strong front line.”
