Stocksbridge complete signing of Elliot Murray

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Elliott Murray.

The young defender has been on trial with the Steels since the pre-season opening fixture against Handsworth. He has recently formed a strong partnership with Charlie Oglesby which led to yesterday’s clean sheet against Eccleshill United.

Murray comes to the club with experience at this level having previously played at Brighouse Town last season and Mickleover before that. He also played in the Derby County academy, where he captained one of the youth teams to success.

Now he’ll be looking to lock down a place in central defence and be a key player for the Steels this season.
