Stocksbridge sign Charlie Reaney

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Charlie Reaney from Ossett United.

The 22-year-old midfielder came through the Sheffield Wednesday academy and featured regularly for their U23 side before being released in 2021. Since then, he has become a feature of the local non-league scene. He has played for Sheffield FC, Hallam and Belper Town before moving to Ossett at the start of this season.

He has featured 13 times for the Sheepicorns, scoring twice this season. His most recent goal came against Horbury Town in a 2-0 win and his most recent appearance was in the game they faced against us at the end of October.

We look forward to seeing Reaney in a Steels shirt, which could happen first in Saturday’s match against North Ferriby United.
