Stocksbridge sign Charlie Wood

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Charlie Wood from Matlock Town.

Wood has come through Matlock’s pathway system and was promoted to their first team this summer. He has made four appearances for the Gladiators this season. However, he was released following the appointment of Ryan Cresswell as the new manager of Matlock.

The midfielder, not to be mistaken with the Charlie Wood who spent time on loan with us from Bradford City a couple of years ago, will add extra depth to the Steels and we look forward to seeing him in action soon!
