Stocksbridge sign Curtis Davies

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Curtis Davies from Long Eaton United.

The 19-year-old midfielder came through the Mansfield Town youth system, though he also spent time with Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Mansfield Town, and went on loan to Long Eaton at the end of last season. His positive play helped Long Eaton with their incredible end of season run which led to their play-off success and being promoted to Step 3. He signed on a permanent deal with them but has now decided to make the move back to South Yorkshire.

Davies will come into the side immediately and could feature in the match against Brighouse Town on Saturday.
