Stocksbridge sign Jack Tinker
Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Jack Tinker from Brighouse Town.
Tinker signed for Brighouse last summer after a successful trial. He had previously played for Shelley FC, a club that had competed in the North West Counties league until their resignation in 2020. He also played for the Barnsley’s Shadow Scholarship scheme where he won the Most Improved Player award and featured for the National Football Youth League’s All Stars team. The young full-back did not play against the Steels on Monday night but has featured three times for Town this season.
Now the 20-year-old defender has headed south down the M1 and has signed for Stocksbridge. He will add extra depth to the full-back position and be part of manager Ian Richard’s vision to have a strong squad.
He is quick, athletic, strong in the tackle and likes to join in attacks, so we hope he can add further quality to an already strong squad. Richards said of Tinker
