Stocksbridge sign up Nick Guest

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Nick Guest from Pontefract Collieries.

Guest is an experienced striker at the Northern Premier League level having played for AFC Mansfield Town and Ossett United at this level. He has also played for Hemsworth. Guest is a player familiar to manager Ian Richards as they worked together at Penistone Church, a team he had plenty of success at.

After the signing, Richards said: “Guest is a hardworking, mobile striker with good movement and the ability to score goals in and around the penalty area.”

Guest made his debut for Stocksbridge today after coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Tadcaster Albion.
