Stocksbridge sign Zak Dearnley

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Zak Dearnley.
The 24-year-old winger started his career with Manchester United before making a loan move to Oldham Athletic permanent following a brief stint with New Mills. He would then go on to play for Halifax Town, Buxton, Liversedge, and most recently, Guiseley. He also has international experience, having played for the England U16s and England Schools U18s.
He now comes into Stocksbridge and will be competing for a first-team spot as the Steels look to secure their place in the top five. He came on as a substitute in Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Worksop Town.
Following the signing, Stocksbridge manager Ian Richards said: “We are excited to welcome Zak Dearnley to the football club.
“Zak at this stage in his career needs a club to provide him with direction, guidance and support to get him back enjoying his football and focusing on working hard to be successful.
“He will be a valuable asset to us in the exciting run in ahead.”
