U18 Manager Vacancy
Stocksbridge Park Steels Football Club is South Yorkshire’s premier semi professional football club playing at step 4 of the non league pyramid. We are committed to providing a holistic development programme from U16 level feeding into our development teams, which will help create a sustainable path to the first team.
Overview U18 manager role.
The team manager of our first year U18 team will create a development environment for players, whilst competing competitively. This position will lead all aspects of of the team operations including training, pre season and off field management, reporting into the Senior management committee. The ultimate aim is to develop a U18 team capable of feeding into our U19 development team and Reserve team.
Regular communication with the managers of these teams and the senior committee will be required, to facilitate the platform for the U 18 team to progress within these more senior teams.
Personal Requirements Experience
- Minimum of 2 years coaching experience. Ideally with FA level 2.
- DBS checked and eligible to pass DBS scrutiny. • First aid – or capability to gain certification.
- preferable experience in managing grassroots teams at U16 level and upwards.
- A well developed and consistent ability to communicate effectively and professionally with players and match officials.
- An understanding of the development phases of individual grassroots players.
